Liv formerly known as Liv & Kiss is taking this stage at the Fall/Winter 2018 Kansas City Fashion Week Thursday, March 29th at 7:30 PM. Whitney Jones the owner of Liv plans to take the audience to a beautiful place known as the Gateway of Africa: Morocco. 9 beautiful, bodacious, bombshells will be taking the runway by storm and long with a handsome guest. This will be one of few all full figured collections to be displayed on the KCFW runway in years of the existence of the show. Not only is she doing a full figure line but Whitney is also taking us to a place that you often don’t hear a lot about.
When asked why she chooses the Gateway to Africa she informed me of all of the history that this magical place holds, “When you think of Morocco you think of beautiful agriculture, Bright color, beautiful people, delicious food, an unlimited supple of orange trees and let’s not forget the amazing weather.” When asked what her inspiration was and what she pulled from the Morocco culture she said each of her garments in this collection will make you smile. “Morocco is a simple peaceful destination that isn’t found of camera or being in the limelight.”
Like the country all of the garments have a variety of colors, textures and silhouettes. It’s a collection that no matter who you are or what you do, you can wear each of these pieces on a daily basis. Follow us over the month of March we are going to break down this amazing show in sections that will give you all the behind the scene details.
